A look at the 2010 sports year through my eyes. Yeah, yeah, I know, the year is only 35/36ths complete. We still have another whole nine and a half crazy days of sports happenings left to amaze us. But with family get-togethers planned, many miles on the highway ahead, and an uncertain schedule looming of when I will have a keyboard in my lap, I decided to go ahead and give this a shot. A lot went down in the world of sports in 2010, and sitting here trying to recollect it all is proving to be quite tricky. As "The Top Fan," I try to attend as many sports events as is reasonably possible, and here is how the season went for me...

College football has been gone for six months. But now, it is just a few days from being back. Here is a look at all of the things the sports world has given us to pass the time. And while it has been fun to keep up with all of the other great things in the world of friendly competition, as soon as this article is complete, we are back to college football and nothing else!
The Winter Olympics from Vancouver, BC got us through the colder months. The United States finished first in the medal count, with 37 medals. But Germany (30 medals, second place) had more golds, with ten to our nine. Along with the X Games just before, there is now .....

Home Run Derby - Monday Night - 8:00 est - ESPN...All-Star Game - Tuesday 8:00 est - FOX - Both from Anaheim, California...The Major League Baseball season has come to the halfway mark as the All-Star break has been reached. And while I have been derailed lately from my normal watching due to the World Cup and the world of Lebron, the second half of the season should be very interesting to keep up with. After all, the Braves are in first place, and as long as they are in the mix for a world title, I'm into it! Here is a quick glance at the first half of the season.
