I want to hear your honest opinions about the NFL Pro Bowl.
I will start it off by saying that I enjoy watching the little quarterback and kicker competitions, and all the side stuff that comes along with it. About the game itself, I'll be honest. I might watch the 1st quarter. After that, I move on to something else.
It is very, very tough to watch a football game that is actually half of a football game. The rules are so watered down, and mostly, the players aren't really out there playing to the caliber of what a Pro Bowler should be playing.
Honestly, I can't blame them. Pro Bowl rules are made to minimize the risk of unnecessary injury. Most of the players, out of respect, even go further to make sure themselves that they don't cause unnecessary injury to another player. You may be different, and if you are, I am me and you are you. Nothing we can do about that. But if I was a player in this game, I would not make it a point to clean somebody's clock for the sake that they may fumble. If I seriously injure this man in the most meaningless game in all of football, I would be an a**.
In return, all of this makes for some very unwatchable television. I know that this site has it's share of biased football fans, but when you put it all aside, even the most biased football fan has to admit... The Pro-Bowl is the worst All-Star game of any sport.
What is your opinion on the Pro Bowl?
