Ok, so I know a lot of you dont care about sports fashion, but this was just a thread to get the Olympic talk rolling...

Anyone that is a sports fan, is into sports fashion, whether they want to believe it or not.

I don't understand the people that think they can judge others for wearing a jersey. Jim Rome always says, "You should't wear a jersey if you're older than 10 years old". I say, "You don't have the right to judge me". I ain't no fool. I know when to dress for what occasion. I'm not gonna wear a Dale Murphy throwback to a job interview. But if its a normal day and normal occasions are going on, I am going to wear what I'm comfortable in. If I feel comfortable in one of my jerseys that day, I just might put on a jersey and go. I might not feel comfortable in a jersey, so I might put on a polo or a white tee. Either way, its my choice, and if somebody doesn't like me for me, I don't need them.

I wish the USSR was still around because they were such a fun rival to have in the Olympics.

Not a big fan of those jackets. I guess I am more a traditionalist. No need for the fading blue to white and really don't like the fact that the fading is different in each jacket. I think Nike tries to overdo it (i.e. duck feathers on football unis). Why not a solid blue jacket with USA in red? Just my 2 cents.

Am looking forward to the olympics, though. I suspect the opening ceremony won't quite live up to Beijing. That was a great spectacle.

I tend to agree Eagle, but man, alot better than the ones for the closing ceremonies...wow.

I really like that NBC is using the song "One Day" by Matisyahu to soundtrack their commercials. It makes for a beautiful anthem. Matisyahu is my dude. Saw him in concert last summer in Milwaukee.

calgold- you ever seen that will ferrell and john c reilly video that showed at the espy's? they talked about that, how they demanded if they were to host the espys that they would have to bring back the ussr so the olympics would be interesting again.
