LSU is clearly the top team in the land after their 41-17 dismantling of Arkansas. In the AP poll, the Tigers received all 60 first-place votes. They are eight tough quarters away from their third national title in eight years.
1. LSU (12-0, 8-0) - Defeated Arkansas, 41-17 - Last week: 1 - As we head into the postseason, there is no doubt that LSU was the class of the regular season. The Tigers finished the regular season second nationally in points against at 10.6 ppg, and 13th nationally in points for, at 38.6 ppg. LSU scored over 35 points in all but two games. Next: SEC Championship Game versus Georgia.
